Valve is now accepting Dota 2 beta signups. You can apply simply by logging into your Steam account over on the official Dota 2 site.

While it’s not clear how large scale this beta will be, those that want in should act fast. It’s expected to start sometime after Gamescom. Yesterday, Valve dropped off the first Dota 2 trailer in prep for its Gamescom debut.

The aforementioned method is the only way to get into DotA 2 Beta, Valve is not giving away any sort of DotA 2 Beta Keys/Invites codes, If anyone is selling or asking you to enter email for beta invitation, don’t do it!

The DotA 2 Public Beta test will probably start in few weeks so, it is advised to signup for beta as soon as possible.
